Windham Mountain Bike Park offers a truly unique downhill riding experience. FAMILY FUN - Hunter Mountain Scenic Skyride
Our Scenic Skyride features our six-passenger Kaatskill Flyer detachable chairlift.
Enjoy a scenic and breathtaking 11 minute ride to the top of the 3200' high summit of Hunter Mountain, offering spectacular views of the Northern Catskill Mountains, the Berkshires in Massachusetts, and Vermont's Green Mountains.
When you reach the top, view the hand-hewn Rip Van Winkle statue, or the more adventurous can follow DEC marked hiking trails to the highest fire tower in New York State. Allow 3 hours round trip for this moderate 4 mile hike.
This state of the art six passenger chairlift is the only one of its kind in NYS.

HISTORIC - Hudson-Athens Lighthouse Tours
Tours of the Hudson-Athens Lighthouse are now available on the second Saturdays of July, August, September and October.
Tour dates for 2019 are Saturday, July 13th, August 10th, September 14th, and October 12th. Tours will depart from Henry Hudson Riverfront Park in Hudson at 11, 12, 1 and 2. Tours depart Athens Village Riverfront Park at 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, and 2:30.
Located in the middle of the Hudson River between the Village of Athens and the City of Hudson, the Hudson-Athens Lighthouse was built in 1874 to guide ships safely around the Middle Ground Flats.
Reservations are suggested and can be made online at Hudsoncruises.com or by calling Hudson Cruises at 518-348-8993 or (Toll Free) 888-764-1844. The cost is $25 for adults, and $10 for children under 12 years of age. Members prices are $15 for adults and $5 for children.
Located on Rt. 23A west of Palenville, you will find the trailhead about three miles west of the village. From a small parking area on the south side of Route 23A, the moderate trail is 1.4 miles round-trip.
OUTDOOR ADVENTURES - Kaaterskill Falls
The highest cascading waterfall in New York State – Kaaterskill Falls. Dropping in two tiers over 260 feet, Kaaterskill Falls has been one of the region's most popular destinations for centuries.
Climb high enough to view the Hudson River Valley as it snakes below – just one of the many Catskills outdoor activities to enjoy.
The Kaaterskill Falls hiking trail is accessed via I-87 Exit 21. Located on Rt. 23A west of Palenville, you will find the trailhead about three miles west of the village. From a small parking area on the south side of Route 23A, the moderate, 1.4 miles round-trip trek winds up a well-traveled path offering views of nearby Bastian Falls.

This historic Donald Ross designed golf course is family owned and provides superb views of the Catskills Mountains. The 9 holes are playable as 18 with alternate tees. Fine dining is available at the on-site restaurant for lunch, dinner and private functions. Open 7 days a week to the public.

OUTDOOR ADVENTURES - Sunset Snowshoe Tours & Dinner
Every Saturday through March (weather permitting).
Enjoy a guided snowshoe hike on Windham Mountain, followed by a delicious meal at SEASONS (their in-house restaurant).
All guests will meet at the Demo Center (near base of D lift) at 3:30pm and embark on the journey at 3:45pm. The route depends on natural snow coverage and portions of the hike does include traveling uphill. This moderate to rigorous hike is a great way to get a workout in before a delicious meal at SEASONS!
Space is limited to 30 guests per hike and reservations are required. Snowshoe rentals (based upon availability) and your meal at SEASONS is included in your registration fee of $50.

Located at the base of Hunter Mountain, the 60′ Adventure Tower is great entertainment for all ages. Hunter Mountain's 4x4 Off-Road Adventure is a one or two day excursion offering the perfect mix of adventure and luxury. We'll start with a basic off road “warm up,” followed by an off-road excursion on our remote west side logging trails complete with a stream crossing, mud pass, rock crawl and log crawl. The highlight of the event is the exciting hill climb to our scenic 3200' summit. FAMILY FUN - White Water Tubing
For over 30 years the Town Tinker Tube Rental has provided whitewater equipment for adrenaline seekers to come and experience the intensity of the rapids on the Esopus Creek.
The Course begins upstream from the Town Tinker headquarters, in Phoenicia, NY and contains the best and most extreme whitewater the Esopus has to offer. Depending on the water height an average tubing trip takes between 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Transportation to the entry points is provided by the Town Tinker Taxi.
The Esopus Creek is "NOT" a lazy river! It's class II whitewater which means 1 to 3 foot waves and rapids. It is not a man-made amusement park ride.
The Town Tinker Staff is expertly trained to supply you with all of the equipment and gear needed. All tubers will receive safety instructions and gear needed.
